Ya, I am using Blender. Luckily for me my brother has used it for many years and is helping me out a lot :)

Taking a break from the 3D models. This week I am working on game optimizations. When working with a 3D engine, there are many tricks you can do to make things more performant. This includes things like combining all the images and textures used into the game into large sprite sheets/atlas's which helps the GPU greatly. Ideally this game runs great on not just new devices... but older ones too.

I have finished all the game optimizations and this week will go back to the 3d models. I hope to finish all the tower and enemy models soon.

I have finished the 3d models for the towers now and have added them to the game. I also added a system so I can message all players using in-game mail. This week I plan on adding in all the 3d models for the enemies.

I'm still working on the 3d models for the enemies.... this is a lot of work and It's hard to stay motivated...lol :(

Ok, I have finished all the 3D models for the enemies and now I am working on the programming each enemy to have their unique qualities (some are immune to frost towers, some go faster over time, some go backwards, etc)

Ok, finally finished adding in all the enemy abilities.

Previously I completed a profile page where you can customize your account (screenshot below). I am now working on adding these customizations into the game (ie. If you choose "Extra Damage", when playing the game I need to make the towers actually do extra damage)

Oh wow looks like I am late to the party on the game being disabled. I still would like to give my thanks to you. I have spent countless hours playing this game over the last 10 years, and none of that was possible without your hard work.

I still remember eight years ago at like 11 at night I think to myself alright I'll get a couple games in on beatthegeek.com before bed.. I am zoned in on a random medium level and my wife walks in "Brandon, can we talk for a minute?" Yeah sure babe but can it wait until I smash this level real quick? Of course she says no chance and over the next 10 minutes I find out we are having a little boy.

Point of this is that this game will always be remembered by some of us. You created a fantastic easy to play game that never needed hours or days of my time yet I happily gave it up anyways.

Thank you for your time and dedication and please let me know when the game is ready to play. I will happily contribute with my time and $$.

Hey, thanks bmaffett123 for your kind words. That's quite the story and I'm glad the game can be part of it...lol. Congrats on the kid, I have 3 kids now myself. :)

I makes me happy I was able to create something that people enjoyed.

Definitely makes me sad to see the game's life had to come to by no choice of my own.

I still am working on on the games replacement. I do apologize it's taking a lot longer than I expected... I guess that's what's happens when 1 person has to do all the work. I am trying my best to post weekly updates with it's current progress so for those of you that are interested in playing it can at least see I am still working on it.

Quick update... been busy trying to sell my house right now. So this week I am painting walls.... lol. As for the game customizations, I have finished about half of them and hope to get back to working on them very soon.

Ya, we are building a new house that will be completed this November. The housing market right now where I live is really hot so selling our home early is apparently the best option to get the most for it. Might have to move the family in with my parents while it's being built...lol.
