Hi@ all.
I have an idea for two new power up's and a new creep.

The 1st one:

Black hole. Cost: 5 Size: 3x3
The Black hole absorbs alls the creeps in an area of 3x3. The creeps are away, but not death, so they won't give points or money. You can use this to erase a huge bunch of creeps at once.
It will be oben for 3 seconds, or until it has absorb xx creeps, or a total of xx hp.


The second one:

Disintegrate. Cost: 12 Size 1x1

It is similar to the Black hole. It will be open for a half second and will absorb EVERYTHING! Creeps, Bullets, Towers, Walls, Black holes... ect.
You can use this to close a Black hole or juggle on a no-selling map.



The creep:

Skater.

The Skater is like a normal creep, but instead of slow down on a freezed area it will speed up. Maybe this ability is good enough to make this creep became a boss.

The creep idea is good.

Akso, i think with a bit of modification, the second of your tower ideas would be good too

I was thinking along the lines of a "reverse" power up, where the Start and finish squares are swapped for a specified amount of time, sort of acting like a juggle without selling a tower.

What about a "relocation" power up that allows you to move a tower from one spot to another quickly, without the need to sell and waste time re-upgrading it???

I love the relocation upgrade idea and the creep idea!. But those the second upgrade idea that basically deletes EVERYRYTHING, Is that is the one square space or is it you click on a spot and within a certain space it sucks up everything?. Because if its just the one square you click on then your only going to be able to take out 1-2 creeps. And if it takes out everything in a certain space then I don't like that because it would take your towers out to. And that wouldn't be good.

It should be so: You click the powerup and when you move your mouse on the map, you will see a black sqare on the mouse. So you can choose the sqare, where the powerup will be activated.

And as I saied above, you can use it to
-absorb some creeps
-close a black hole
-absorb a peace of wall and open new paths
-absorb a tower on a no-selling map to juggle
-absorb a start or end sqare
- ect....
-but it will also absorb bullets

You see, it has its advantages and disadvantages.

When I had mental diarrhea, I got some great ideas.
Three ideas for levelpoint-skills, three creep ideas, and two tower ideas.
Lets start with the levelpoint-skills.
What about a skill to improve the freeze lenght of the creepfreeze power-up. Maybe 1/3 second more per point. Thats not much but the poweup is really powerfull, when you have it fullskilled.

The other levelpoint-skill reduces the selltime. I think 4% per skill is enough. So you can half the selltimes, when you skill it to the max.

The third skill adds radiation to the Nuke power-up. 5 dmg per second per skilpoint. That can kill a weak creep easiely. This effect shold stack if you nuke the same creep twice.


Now the creeps.
The most creeps have advantages, but there is no creep with disadvantages. What about creeps that take damage on ice, or get slowed twice as hard as the normal ones.
Or a creep that jumps like the horse in a chess game. It can jump onto towers, but this is the disadantage of this creep. When it jumes into a Volcano it will burn - and gets instant-killed. When it jumes into a teleporter it will teleported instandly.


Last but not least the towers.
The one idea is a wall. It has the size 1x1, is very cheap, but you cann't remove it anymore. The wal is just for better mazing, not for juggling.
The second idea is towerstacking. You stack the towers one above the other and can do it to infinity. But once you start to stack you cann't upgrade one of the towers. The selltime and damange is normaly added, the shots per second won't change and the range gets an addition of 10% of the new tower.


I hope you like some of the ideas, and it wasn't too much mental darrhea. XD

I like yout ideas njulian.

A few additions though. For the time on the creep freeze powerup, i would suggest a 1/4 second per point added to it (making it add 3 seconds with 12 points invested, instead of 4 seconds at 1/3 of a second). Like you said, its a powerful powerup, and even a second would deal alot of damage, especially around bash towers.

The sell time reduction skill is so damn pperfect, im amazed i didnt think of it.

And adding the radiation to the nuke powerup id also a brilliant idea. But i would like to add that it should take a ppercentage, eg, 1 percent of remaining HP per second, thus meaning that the nuke cant kill, it just weakens it.

Not sure there is much i can add to the creep and tower ideas, they are awesome.

Hi,
I have some more suggestions, this time for the editor.

The first one: adding a comment or something like that, that will appear in the extended info box, or as an comment under the score-list. The comment you write in the editor can be some tips or a story to the map. When you make a story to the map, you don't have to write it again everytime you start the map.

The second one: adding a picture to the background. So you can make more colourfull maps. It should be able to change the Transparency.

The third one: a counter, that tells you how many green and red squares are placed. If you want that creeps spawn fron every single entrance or exit you needn't count them anymore.
Just for fun the Walls and free sqares are counted too.

An idea for the store: You can buy colous for the walls to paint them.

@Asylum: your idea with the 1% radiation is nice, but it worth more to juggle a creep for 70second than nuke it a second time.

I have even more ideas!

1.: Laser tower

The Laser tower shots with a continious beam. That means one shot per frame. Remenber, this game runs at 30 frames per second. That is a total of 1800 shots per minute. Now you might think thats overpowered, but if we keep the damage low, it's balanced.
Here are my suggestions about the upgrade-levels:

At the max level it deals 45000 dmg per minute. It looks overpowerded? The rapid tower deals 52160 dmg per minute!


Next idea: Orbital Cannon
The Orbital Cannon is the opposit to the laser. It unleashes one single powerbeam per minute. To compensate the ultra low shot rate this tower has infinity range and awesome power.
