Trust me, the facebook thing will be good. You will still play from this site, but will be able to play with others the are play from facebook as well.
Otherwise it might take you a bit to fill a game (i'm thinking the multiplayer version might support from 2 to 16 players per game).
More details will follow when I iron everything out :) |

If it took too long to make a game full you could set the limit to 4 or so, until you have finnished the facebook thing. |

The facebook thing was done a while ago, recently finished the multiplayer lobby (which allows you to chat in realtime, create games, have people join your games, etc). The last part to everything is to finish the actual features for the multiplayer BTGTD game.
As i am sure you can imagine, there is lots to do. After this is doen though, future multiplayer games will be much faster. A lot of time was making the realtime lobby (socket server, etc).

Well, as it stands now if you use your facebook account it will be a different account than your BTG account.
Maybe I might make it so you can link the 2 accounts (so if you log in with your facebook account it will save the stats to your BTG account

The account-linking sounds cool.
Will we start all over, or can we import / export our BTG accounts to the multiplayer version? |

I haven't decided exactly how it will work. You wouldn't lose anything you already have... but there might be a separate rating system for the multiplayer version.... |
