In the Map linked above I've got a bug with the "Buy extra points" Powerup. After beating about 180 - 190 Waves the powerup gave more points than it should - more than 1000. The 1115 points you see in the screenshot is the maximum I got, but it also showed odd numbers like 1079.

The other weird thing on the map is, that it didn't saved my score. Unfortunately I haven't seen the ending dialogue whether it said "... out of NANth players..." as it usually does when the score is not saved, because I was afk. This also was the first time that I played a map with full points in the Harder Creeps skill.

It's unlikely that the not saved score is caused by a diconnect, because I was playing Minecraft on a server in the meantime. So I should have noticed that. Problably it was an Anit-beat-anonemouse2010-tool ;)

How do you know it gave too many points? The 200th wave (that you were on) gives more points than the lower waves do.

As for not saving your score, that I am not sure unfortunately :(

I'm pretty sure that I got too much points as it usually gives (lowest still alive wave * 5) points. At least it has been like that for any other map. And following this rule the game thought I was on wave 223. (*)

Do you mind to fix the typo in the subject? I looks pretty awkward, as "gives too much" was meant.

I saw that you replied to the wrong thread, but I'll answer here non the less.


Is it possible, that the "Harder Creeps" skill not just raises the score gain from creeps, but also amplifies the "Buy Points" powerup? This would (almost) explain the 1115 points like this:

((199 * 5) * (112 / 100)) = 1114.4

199 beeing the Wavenumber, 5 the multiplier for the "buy points" and 112 / 100 the amplifier from "Harder Creeps".


Maybe a check through the sourcecode can give a clear answer wether this is a bug or a feature.
