I did change some stuff.... but I didn't think those changes were the problem... maybe it was :)

Like I said, I tossed a TON of error checking to the parts of the code I think were failing. So hopefully if it does happen again I'll know exactly where in the code the problem occurs.

Then i'd better start playing lots ;)

Happened to me days ago, only once (probably cause of network issues) - see my profile pic :)

Ok, i justed checked out your d/c PhaE. The logs show everything went correct (you even were sending regular updates all game). I think I might have found the issue for the d/c's.

Also, I am changing it so that it it will only consider you d/c'ed if the server hasn't heard from you in 10 minutes (up from 5 minutes).

The "Saving Score..." screen has been there for over a minute now.
Typing this in another tab while waiting for it to finish :)
Did some internet tests in the meantime, and as i'm typing here, it works :P

Right now it has been more then 3 minutes on the "Saving Score..."

Funny thing is, i can still upgrade towers and all.
Also, after a kill, a little number floats up. The number of the last kill kept looping (re-appearing) for a few minutes too, untill i upgraded a tower.
It just went to the game over screen, with the NaNth place thingie.
It shows me as
"PhaE is currently playing... (Started 26 minutes ago)"

Update:

Due to my internet-problems, i started some digging myself.
Last thing i did, altho long ago, was update the firmware of my router. I just now rolled it back to a version before the newest one, and my intarrrwebs seems to be behaving much better now.
Too early to say if my score-saving-problems are over too, but i'll start testing right away :)

It is quite odd that you are the only one that seems to be having the problem (that I know of). I'm hoping that helps solves the issue.

Either way, I need to have some way of trouble shooting issues like these better. I just got into work now so I'll look into your latest "saving score" issue right now.

Although this site gave more errors, that probably is because there's a lot going on in the background which made me notice it more. (Also the reason i started troubleshooting at this side, so kudos! :D )

Well, more errors as in;

Loading hanged sometimes, while other sites did not.
Games would not start, or hang on loading, etc.
Lots of trash-talk errors.
All while my router was buggy.

None of those errors anymore, except the trash-talk one.

What i meant was that this site is more intensive then most of the other sites which i visit, which may cause more delay when my connection was bumping then on other sites, as this one also checks if im still there.
Other gamesites just log you in, when you click a game, that loads, and at the end it submits.
No checking in between or whatever.

Not saying the site is buggy, just that a stable connection is needed to take full advantage of it :)

It only sends a message once every 2 minutes while in game to tell the server you are still there. But ya, if your internet keeps dropping that could be an issue on this site. :(

The trash talk error is a known bug that you can just ignore for now. I'll get to that eventually :)

I was wondering what that trash-talk error was, was getting it every so often, now know it was just either lag or a bug =]

The trash talk on the tournament results page auto-refreshes every 5 seconds (so there is no need to refresh the page to see new messages).

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but occasionally it goes to get the latest trash talk messages and fails. No big deal really... I know the pop-up is annoying so hopefully I can get aroung to fixing that soon. My list of bugs to fix is getting smaller :)
