Hello,

there are many tournaments with no end time and a high player limit. This tournaments run a very long time if they even end at all. Are there any plans how this can be handled?

Ya, I probably shouldn't allow tournaments to have no end time. This is something I plan on changing in the upcoming week when I release something new for the map editor :)

So the new features are that tournaments last for 48 hours and cost always 600GP to start?

I personally liked it that some maps where open for 5 Days or so, while others where only for a single day or even less.
To the mapprice, well, that was a good idea you had. *proudly tapping your back*

No, the new feature should be done in a day or so... those other changes were just other changes I wanted to do...

All you'll notice so far is I made starting a tournament a flat 600 GP price. Which, for most tournaments should be cheaper (I know some of them costed well over 1000 GP).

I also removed the ability to start a private tournament... now all tournaments you start will be available to all. I did this because in all of 2012, only 13 private tournaments were started.

I also made it so that all tournaments will run for 2 days. It seems like a nice round number... I didn't like tournaments running for a week and it removes an exploit were players would make a tournament last for 2 minutes and be the only entry.

The new update isn't really a change to the map editor... but it will make starting maps much cooler. I'm just working out the last few bugs and you'll see it before the end of the week.
