Hey all,

Things have finally slowed down for me in my real life, so I've managed to get back into working on the multiplayer BTGTD game. I've spent 150+ hours on it in the last month alone. It's looking pretty awesome right now and I'm really excited for you all to play it.

My original goal was to release it the day BTGTD hit 1 million plays (we getting close). However, since things are progressing fast, odds are it will be released well before then (no, not before Christmas :P)

Also, the description of what MPBTGTD will look like is no longer exactly as described in my previous MPBTGTD post. It'll be quite different, and hopefully much more fun.

I'll keep you all posted :)

Nice to hear!

I would be cool if you make both, the old version and the current version of MPBTGTD. I wonder whats different now.

Without getting into crazy details, the old way I described before doesn't work well when you have more than 2 players.

Image if you could prevent your opponents towers for shooting for 3 seconds if you use a certain powerup. Now imagine a game with 16 players where everyone could do this. There could be a point where everyone dies because 5 people used that powerup in a row.

And there are many other issues like that with the old model. I'm fairly certain you'll like the new version. I'll give more details in the weeks to come :)

Ok, but I guess the old version could work with powerups that affect only you and not the other players.
