As I kinda expected to happen, there were some issues with the site when calculating the winners for the weekly tournament. It kinda got stuck in a loop and kept awarding stats to players :(

Anyways, I think I have fixed the issue. I will once again monitor everything next weekend and hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I do make a backup of the database every night so at worst we'll lose minimal data.

As for the 3 winners of the weekly tournament, I have :

Level 41+ : anonemouse2010
Level 21-40 : Aljechin
Level 1-20 : ????

Any idea who won that? I'll have to manually credit them with the win.

Also, normally each week all golden tickets get reset to zero. I've changed it to reset to 1 so even those that do not win tournaments still will have a shot at playing.

My profile shows I didn't play in the weekly tournament. I placed 6th, in fact.

Last I checked, just before midnight Sunday, the Level 1-20 tournament had one entrant, and that geek (can't remember who) was "disconnected."

Ya, I had to restore the database to the Sunday at 3am backup. So some data was unfortunately lost. I did see the one disconnected player on the 1-20 bracket and no one else. Wasn't sure if anyone entered later that day.

That's one of the reasons I am giving everyone 1 Golden Ticket each week so even the 1-20 bracket sees some players.

Does it mean we get one golden Ticket for free every week?

Yes, everyone will get at one for free... if you want any more you need to earn them.
