without this feature, 120 gold start
when using all my points for extra gold, it still starts with 120 gold.

Am I doing something wrong?

if i understood right, you can set the skill points already but they havent any influence on the game yet, this will be implemented later

yeah you're correct, otherwise i would have strategies to finish modes not yet completed.

How is it a waste? When the game is updated all your future games will start with more gold.

Does the cost for placing a point increase by total points placed or by number of points placed at the moment?

E.g. i have 10 points, place 5 of them, remove 4.. does the next point i place cost as much as if i'd place my 6th(total) point as if i'd place my 2nd(number atm) point?

Currently it costs 25 GP regardless of how many you currently have in an upgrade.

There is a chance that it will scale up depending on how many you already have in an upgrade. I might keep it the way it is as I want to encourange people to move their points around for certain tournaments. If it cost 500gp to place a point, you'd never remove it.

Well I tried to add to the extra gold, which costs gp and then saw that the game didn't look like it was showing this extra gold, so removed all extra gold points and confirmed with same game.
Then retested with another game to be sure.

ie. gp wasted.

If the feature isn't fully functional then there should have been notification on the profile page where you set them, assuming everyone will read the forum is a bad bad idea.

OR you could just read the whole thread and known about it like everyone else.

No trouble reading, just having a different opinion.
I read that.
And since every new feature is posted on the forums first, it's just common sense for people to check it when something new shows up.

Sparticus runs this site all alone, so don't go scolding him for not posting everything everywhere just because some people want everything handed to them on a plate.

Again, just my opinion.

you're still making the assumption that people will read the forums.

Remember any person that joined today this isn't a 'new feature' it is an existing one. So even a quick glance at the forums will not help them.

Not everyone has a clue, some of them need it pointing out to them, and yes if necessary in great big massive letters ;)

I am not reporting this for myself, as for myself I couldn't care either way - but for others it will be a site bug.

I agree with both of you.

I made a poor assumption that people read the "News and Announcements"... but elfin is correct, many people don't. I really should have put a disclaimer that the feature isn't completely done on the profile page.

Part of the reason I didn't was because the update to the game shouldn't take me long, so I had hoped to have it up and working yesterday or today. I am still working hard to get it done today. I justed wanted to give a sneak peek.

If anyone is upset that they wasted geek points in something because of my mistake, I'd be happy to refund the gp.
