I just launched my own map, with 100 hard waves. I just finished it with a 100.000+ score. Took me more then half an hour though.
But no matter, i was totally happy, so went back to score-screen...

NOTHING!

Aaaalllll the way at the bottom i'm marked as "disconnected".

I wasn't disconnected, i was just taking a freakin long time killing 95 waves at the same time!

Worst is, can't even do it again cause i do not have enough GP anymore :/

Really? You get marked as disconnected if the server hasn't received anything from you in 5 minutes.... (the game is constantly messaging the server). Is it possible your internet died for a few minutes without you noticing?

Well, i build a maze, then spawn all waves that are left (95), and juggle. But the game gets a bit laggy when there are 90+ waves on the screen, so maybe it has somethting to do with that?
My connection is fine, got another window downloading and watching a SC2 stream at the same time, so should have noticed :P But ill try again, thanks :)

There is nothing wrong with sendign 100 waves at once (except for the fact your computer will lag a ton :)

That disconnect issue shouldn't happen again. Let me know if it does

How about pausing? I did pause for some time (half an hour?) cause i got a phonecall, could that have to do with anything?

Hmm, the pause might have caused it... I'll have to test that myself. It might have paused all communication to the server for 30 minutes... it assumed you were no longer there.

If that's the case I need to fix that. I guess I never tested the game pausing for more than 5 minutes...lol

To be safe, don't pause the game for more than a couple minutes until I investigate :)

Well i paused it quite longer then that this time around, i think 10 minutes or something. But it did register the score :D
Maybe i did have a hickup. Strange though, should have noticed it. OR it was a very little one that happened right at the time the game tried to communicate.

Ya, I'm not sure.
I just testing it myself.... I played a game and left it paused for 20 minutes.... then resumed the game. It did save my score properly.

Oh well. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

It just happened to me. Usually I do have a stable connection. But I can't be sure that I didn't get disconnected. Is there any need in having a stable connection? Why can't the applet just sumbmit the score at the end?

Bah!

Right now the game sends a message to the server saying "I am still playing" every 2 minutes... This needs to be done because I have no idea if you closed your browser.

The website assumign if they havne't heard anything from you in 5 minutes you are gone and marks you as disconnected.

I'll increase the messages to 1 every minute for next game patch. That should fix the problem.
