on my replay you will notice that at about round 35 i used the creep freeze because i was upgrading a tower and i thought they'd get by. while they were frozen, i sent the last 10 or so rounds early. i killed all the creeps on the screen and the game ended.... without any more creeps spawning. i'll try recreating this on other tourneys to see if it repeats.

Ahh, you found a bug. It sees that you are on the last level and there are no creeps left on the screen so the game assumes you beat everything.

I'll add this to the list of things to fix.
