So if volcano fields are annoying to some (but are open to some debate; see "Two Ways to Win" on this forum), I think clickfests are at least a level of magnitude worse. Where's the "skill" or fun in tourney 2333 (and others like it)? To me, they're a lot less in the spirit of BTG than building a volcano field; at least the latter requires some degree of timing and organization.
At a minimum, if someone wants to create a clickfest, it should say so. I shouldn't have to waste 10 g.p. to find out. |

Agree. Usually, the first "who feels the same" states it in the comments... so you can't go wrong. |

Yep, i find them more boring than annoying... I don't think they can be stopped, and probably some people enjoy clicking :)
Anyways, just an idea - labels. I'll list some, I'm sure you will get the idea:
- clickfest
- no juggling
- short
- medium
- long
- limited space
- trains
- strong creeps
etc..
Like tags, it is debatable if the map creator or the players (or both?) should be able to "tag" maps with such labels. |

For those of you that don't already know.... click fest maps are generally a waste of time. Why? Cause you can easily download a free app to click your mouse 1000 times a second.... so unless you have that app, you'll lose. Also, click fest maps generally generate huge amounts of data to the server.... which causes issues which is why your game doesn't always save. |

Spartacus, one more thing mostly related to clickfests, but not only.
Equal scores = equal rankings
What I mean is that if 3 people have score of 1000 points for example, all of them should have the same ranking - like shared 1st place, not 1st, 2nd and 3rd... It's not fair to have the exact same amount of points as number one and to be ranked 5th... makes sense? |

I know, but in theory it might ;)
I've created several voting/contest systems myself and know that this is pain in the @$$, but equal rankings for equal results is the right thing... |
