Although the tower defence game (BTGTD) should be fairly bug free, it still needs to be balanced a bit.
Balancing is where I tweak numbers in the database to make certain towers stronger or weaker, shoot faster or slower, etc. Same goes for the creeps. I can make them have more hit points, move faster or slower, etc. If you've tried to create your own map/tournament you'll know that almost everything can be tweaked.
So, since the game is fairly new, some balancing will need to be done. If you feel a tower is too strong or weak, let me know. If you have any suggestions on how it should be changed to make it better that's cool too.
Thanks!

I think that flamers are too strong, since they come early in the game before you have a chance to build a boom tower, which seems to be a good way to get them down. I'd say about 75% of the enemies that are successful against me are these flamers. |

Flamers come pretty quick.. but the trick is not always having 1 strong tower, but a long maze... u can make some mobs run by 1 tower at least once or twice... One of the best towers against flamers are the cannon towers over boom towers (cheaper and longer distance) |

The best thing to kill the flamers is the cannon tower early game. It's not well documented I know, but if you click on a creep, all towers in range will focus on him. That comes in handy with cannon towers as you can focus the flamer in the middle of the bunch and you almost hit them all with 1 shot.
But I do agree. They might need a little less hit points early game.
Thanks for the input :) |

I don't have ANY issues with the flamers in general. I don't mean to be offensive, but I think that's just a newbie hiccup on Mike's part. |

Its just a learning curve,
I suppose in easier tournaments they should have lower health...
Since many players are new to this |

That's a good point, and a better term. "Learning Curve" is perfect, lol.
The only problem I see that could potentially pop up is users getting used to "Easy monsters" on easy and then they crap themselves when they move to medium. |

I'm going to have to agree with kilroy on this one. After playing a good number of matches I can easily demolish them with a boom tower. Also I meant red dwarfs, but hey, same thing, right? |

it would be a great idea to think up of some towers that you could add as there are unused spaces for towers. :D. i would like to have a beam tower that does constant damage. and a flame thrower tower would be good to. :). something i want to ask but i don't want to give you any ideas lol. but why isn't there any air creeps?. :). if there were/are going to be than i suggest that you have a tower that can only fire at air creeps and is really affective against them, and also one that can only hit ground creeps but is more affective against them. but if there are air creeps than i feel like it would be a bit more like other TD games. and i like that this game is really unique. i hope this gives you some good ideas or you use my ideas if they are good enough. :). |

No air units please. Never liked them, the problem -i find- with air units is that they: 1. some TD's air units fly in a straight line -over everything in its path- from entrance to exit, forcing you to put all you main fire power into that line they follow (why i quit on DesktopTD real fast). 2. That would require a air/ground, air only, ground only tower type. Making playing a game on one of the crazy maps nigh impossible, the normal and up maps are difficult enough as they are. |

Oh no, please no air units!
It took me months to get the impossible badge on Kongregate for "The 100" (finish "The 100" map without lives lost), only because of the air creeps. It just forces you to build air towers in the central path, nothing more. Takes the fun out of it i think. |

Don't worry, that was the one thing I disliked about desktop tower defence... (and most other td's). Air creeps suck. There will never be air levels in BTGTD. |
