My level 4 rapid tower didn't gain speed when going to level 5, but remained at 180. Is this the max speed? |

the rapid tower in it's current form will get up to 225.
i have reported to sparticus that both the rapid tower and the teleport tower seem to have a bug where they produce a repeating number set instead of calculated numbers.
i haven't heard any update about either of them though.

Ok, first of all sorry for not gettign back to you landronn.
This isn't actually a bug. It's unfortunately just the way the game is made... for those interesting in the numbers read on...
I am at work so i don't have tiem to get you the exact numbers, but this example should clear things up.
The game runs at 30 frames per second. So, lets say the rapid tower shoots every 15 frames. That means it shoots twice a second OR 120 a minute.
So now you go and get the "faster towers" upgrade. It adds 2% to the speed. So, keeping in mind a tower can only shoot at even numbered frames (it can't shoot every frame an a half) that means 15 - (15*.02) = 14.7
So, since we can't shoot a bullet at 14.7 frames, we round it to the nearest whole number and it STILL shoots every 15 frames.
Putting 2 points in faster towers would make that number 14.4, and rounding would make the tower shoot every 14 frames.
So, in summary, sometimes when you upgrade "faster towers" on some towers you won't notice a difference at all levels due to the math. It appears to stay the same due to the limitation in flash that I can't actually shoot a bullet 180 times a minute, or 181 times a minute (the game doesn't run at 180 frames a second to allow this).
It's early for me and liek I said, I don't have the exact numbers with me. I hope that made some sense.
So ya, Unless I am missing something, it's not a bug. |

Ok... so I did a little math and I did get 164 for a level 5 rapid tower, but I would also get 164 shots / second for a level 4 tower because 180 is for level 4 and 5. So what's the real amount of shots a level 4 deals a minute without faster towers? |

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure that there is no level 6, unless it's glitched, and that level 5 is 163/164. |

Yeah, you're right. In that case, lvl 5 with +10% faster towers = 180. bug? |

161 * 1.1 = 179.3
Pretty sure it's the game rounding its frames for a speed of 180. |
