Well, when i first saw the geek points thing im like "dammit.. another site where you have to pay for stuff to make the game better" ... then after i figured out how the geek points actually work, its an amazing idea :) good job sparticus!

Thanks! Ya, don't worry the site is completely free. I attempt to pay for the expensive webhosting fees but tossing google ads on site. I get paid a few pennies for each click... It's not much but it does add up :)

@skalth I went through the exact same thought process.

@Sparticus You should consider putting up a donate link and maybe some info about how close the site is to paying for itself etc. You might be surprised how generous people can be when they like something.

Feature idea: It might be nice if the game would send you a message when someone @s you in a forum post and send a link to the post. Maybe make it so that people who don't want to be @ed can turn it off?

Due to some personal stuff im not able to donate this month, which sucks. But i'll make up for it :D

the only ads I ever see are for Gk2Gk.com, meet other geeks... theres one right above this right now while i'm typing it, i look at it a lot tho cuz some of the profiles on there are hilarious
