A couple people asked me why I don't have a place where people can make donations to the site. I was always hesitant putting a "donate" button here. I don't want people to think they need to donate to play, because you definitely don't. The site is free and always will be.

However, if you are in a generous mood and would like to toss some spare change my way I'll put it to good use. There are many costs running a website nowadays unfortunately.

Anyways, like I said, this is a FREE SITE. There is no need to donate anything. It's only there for those with the good paying jobs that can afford to skip buying their morning coffee in order to help me out.

I added the button to the main page.

I was on one of those $5 a month plan before, but that was shared hosting where your website is hosted on a server with 500 other websites. I now pay each month for a dedicated server :)

Yeh, my wife's webshop same story. Had to switch to dedicated pretty soon :P

I dunno, but it would be a great idea to have a page where it shows who donated in the last month...

on the page it should say something like... Thank you to the following members for their donation!

I will definitely do that. I'm assuming people don't want the amount they donated shown though... not sure.

Def would be nice to see who donated, but not the $$ amount. That tends to be degrading to others like passing the hat in church Yuck! Maybe just the total for the month?

Ok, I added a section to the main page that shows who has made a donation in the last 30 days.

FYI, if anyone donates and wonders why their name isn't there, I have to add you manually. I don't have it linked to paypal just yet :)
